Nutrition Training
aka Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), aka Nutritional Counseling, aka Nutrition Education.
Each of these terms hold different connotations (LINK to a blog post on the differences between the three?)
I chose to title my nutrition services as Nutrition Training for a few reasons:
Breaking habits to form healthier ones can be a difficult process
It takes dedication, consistency, and diligence
I’m a high school wrestling coach, and a trail runner, so the analogy of training comes naturally to me.
What does Nutrition Training entail?
.
With a plant-based approach, I love helping my clients:
Get to a healthier body weight
Reduce inflammation and digestive stress
Learn new cooking techniques
Incorporate new flavors into the routine
Enjoy colorful, nutritious food!
The Medical Nutrition Therapy Process
Purchase your Initial Session. We’ll meet via video call to complete a dietary assessment, determine goals, and make a unique nutrition plan.
Purchase Follow-up Sessions. We’ll meet periodically to fine tune your nutrition practice, address any obstacles, and make adjustments to effectively reach your goals.
Then we set new goals ;)
During the Medical Nutrition Therapy Initial Session, we will complete a dietary assessment, discuss medical history, cooking experience, preferences, time available, etc. This information will be used to design a uniquely tailored nutrition plan to help you improve your health. I’ll provide you with organizational tools and informational resources. 60-75 minutes. Investment of $150.
During Medical Nutrition Therapy Follow-up sessions, we discuss nutrient analyses, evaluate trajectory toward goals, troubleshoot any obstacles, discuss questions and concerns, and make adaptions to the plan as needed. 60-minute sessions. Larger investment = greater discount. Prices ranges from $106-125 per follow-up session.
